Initially, we created a seating area which has a removal canopy and a lovely picket fence to secure the area. Then, the whole school were involved in planting over 70 trees to enhance the area.

We have also had a pond created, which already has frogs and mini-beasts living in it. All children across the school access the pond as part of their learning.

Year 5 have created and maintained two Bug Hotels to encourage animals, birds and insects to visit our Forest School.

One of the many skills that our pupils are learning is Den building. This has showcased the imagination and the fantastic teamwork that our pupils possess.

Years 1 and 2 have created mini villages for the creature that live in our Forest School.
