This year, we are delighted to be taking part in a School Linking programme with Golborne St Thomas' School. School Linking provides our pupils with a wonderful opportunity to meet children from another school, learn about each other's lives and experiences, and build new friendships. 

Throughout the year, pupils from both schools will have the opportunity to connect in a variety of exciting ways. We will visit Golborne St Thomas' School, and they will also visit us, giving pupils the chance to experience each other's schools and learn about what makes each school special. 

As well as our school visits, we will go on a school trip together, giving pupils the opportunity to spend time with their new friends outside of the classroom. We will also complete a range of activities for and with each other, sharing our ideas, learning about our similarities and differences, and working collaboratively on shared projects. 

Technology will also help us stay connected throughout the year. Pupils will take part in Zoom sessions, allowing them to chat, share their learning and continue developing their relationships between visits. 

Our School Linking programme is all about connecting children, celebrating diversity and developing understanding and respect. We hope that through these experiences, our pupils will become more confident in meeting new people, learn to appreciate different perspectives and develop friendships that extend beyond their own school community.
