Art and Design
Subject Leader - Mrs Taylor
Over the Easter Holidays, the children were given the opportunity to enter a competition based on the theme 'Nature'. As always we had some amazing entries and it was very hard to choose a winner. Well done to all that entered. Take a look at some of the Artwork on our Gallery Wall.
It has been so great to be back in School after Lockdown. In the last week of the Spring Term all the school took part in an Art or DT project and some amazing work was produced. Please take a look at some of the displays around our school which feature the children's Art & Design work.

Please do not go out and buy these items. They are meant to be things that you already have in the house or are going to be thrown away.
Week 1 – Paper/Cardboard.
Week 2 – toilet roll tubes / kitchen roll tubes / Pringle Tubes
Week 3 – Dried Food (Eg cereal/rice/pasta
Week 4 – egg boxes or tin foil
Week 5 – Plastic (bottles, bottle tops or yoghurt pots etc).
Each week I will post on the school story a reminder of the material to be used and some inspirational ideas which you can try or you can come up with your own ideas.
Please email me a photograph of your creations each week and these will be added to our school website to create a gallery of all your amazing work.
