Haslam Park Primary School

King Class

Year 5 and 6

Welcome to our page.

King Class is an exciting, energetic place to be and we each have something special and unique to contribute: from amazing artists to remarkable readers- we have it all!

Just like our class namesake - Billie Jean King- we are competitive, determined and hardworking. We treat others with tolerance, kindness and most of all, we work hard to ensure equality and equity in our classroom.

British Values:

We are a 'Law Class'.

We know the meaning and value of law and how important it is to uphold laws to be good citizens- to ourselves, each other and the wider community in which we live. We revisit British Values through our learning.

Keep a look out for photos and updates as we learn, grow and explore!

Homework:

Each week, we are expected to login to TT Rockstars to improve on our times tables fluency and speed:

https://ttrockstars.com/

and Spelling Shed to work on our current spelling test before our weekly spelling test:

https://www.spellingshed.com/en-gb/

We also receive other pieces of homework related to our current learning: this could be a research-based task or a set of maths questions linked to current arithmetic learning.

We are very active on Twitter, please follow us at @Haslamparkprim1  to see all our great learning.
