At Haslam Park, we love to be musical. We currently use the ‘Voice Foundation’ to teach music through. This is supplemented with children taking weekly instrument lessons, which are provided by Bolton Music Services and also weekly ‘singing assemblies’. Look below at some of the musical things that are going on at Haslam Park.

6th December 2019
The whole school attended The Mayor’s of Bolton Christmas Concert at Victoria Hall. The children made their own instruments beforehand and they learnt some Christmas song- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, The 12 Days of Christmas and a jingle Bells. We had so much fun singing along to the songs and playing our instruments. The children got to listen to a live orchestra and learnt about the different types of instruments played in an orchestra- woodwind, brass, percussion and string. They also listened to the Bolton Youth Choir sing.
Each week at Haslam Park Primary School, Miss Fedtschyschak leads a singing assembly with KS1 and KS2. The songs we learn and sing changes depending on the time of year.
